An Agricultural Industry customer needed expert assistance with an Injection Molding
project – and had just transferred this large program to PRI. The customer program
involved a very “price sensitive” market – and timing would be critical to keep project
costs in line. As we worked with the customer and our Injection Molder, Moore
Industries, Inc., we determined early on that specialized materials knowledge and
quick thinking would be key to meeting deliverables for the customer.

The customer utilizes a “customer approved” generic prime resin in their program. When
a bulk truck load of material came in that caused severe push pin problems in injection
molding machinery, we had serious issues. For many – this problem could cause delays
or cost overruns, neither of which would help achieve the desired outcome.
