PRI Report from WorkTruckWeek

Work Truck Week
For more than 20 years, the people who design, build, use and maintain the work trucks and equipment the world relies on have gathered every March to see the industry’s latest products and technology, learn from one another and discuss how to improve the future.
What started as a trade show has evolved to meet the changing needs of the industry.  Plastic Resources, Inc. was an attendee at this year’s WorkTruckWeek Event in Indianapolis, IN – March 8-11, 2022.

We were pleased to meet up with some of our current customers at the event, as well as many new contacts in the electric vehicle (EV) market segment.  It has been an interesting few years working in this category – which by all accounts is set for massive growth.

We feel we have been great partners to our customers in this area, being able to offer solutions ideally suited both for the application and the scale of production.  With the demand and investment that is driving this segment to move at a very rapid pace, we have been able to quickly ramp up with protype parts and transition them to production.

Per the EPA, “Commercial electric trucks are anticipated to become more widely available over the next decade. EPA SmartWay encourages fleets to use reliable sources of information to stay up-to-date on the forces driving electric trucks to the market”.

As the needs increase for plastic molding and extrusion parts assembles in the EV industry for our customers and prospects – Plastic Resources, Inc. will be there to deliver.
